About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Optometrist to join a specialist eye care provider based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

Working within a modern clinical environment, you will become part of a multidisciplinary team alongside experienced ophthalmologists and eye care professionals, helping to deliver high-quality patient care across a range of specialist services.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:

• Conducting pre- and post-operative assessments for refractive and cataract surgery patients.
• Providing clinical support to consultant ophthalmologists and the wider clinical team.
• Performing comprehensive eye examinations and patient consultations.
• Delivering exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to professional standards.

Candidate Requirements

• CORU-registered Optometrist.
• Minimum of two years’ post-registration experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
