Salary: Up to £70,000 plus £5,000 relocation support

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Optometrist to join a specialist ophthalmic provider based in Truro.

You will work within a modern clinical environment as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside experienced ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals, supporting the delivery of a wide range of specialist ophthalmic services.

This role offers excellent opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills and gain exposure to specialist patient pathways within a supportive and structured clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:

• Conducting pre- and post-operative assessments for patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures.
• Providing clinical support to consultant ophthalmologists.
• Delivering comprehensive eye examinations and patient consultations.
• Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and follow-up care.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Candidate Requirements

• GOC-registered Optometrist.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Full UK driving licence may be beneficial depending on clinic requirements.
