Optometrist

Location: Exeter (with travel to Torquay)

Salary: Up to £80,000 plus £5,000 relocation support

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Optometrist to join a specialist ophthalmic provider working across Exeter and Torquay.

You will work within a modern clinical environment as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside experienced ophthalmologists and eye care professionals, contributing to the delivery of a wide range of specialist ophthalmic services.

This role offers excellent scope for clinical development within a supportive and forward-thinking environment, with exposure to advanced patient pathways and specialist eye care services.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties may include:

• Conducting pre- and post-operative assessments for patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures.
• Providing clinical support to consultant ophthalmologists.
• Delivering comprehensive eye examinations and patient consultations.
• Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and ongoing care.
• Working across multiple clinic locations as required (Exeter and Torquay).
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with professional standards.

Candidate Requirements

• GOC-registered Optometrist.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Willingness to travel between clinic sites.
